I was so inspired I have surfed the net for quilting motifs, bought a roll of paper, yard stick and calico, drawn up a pattern, marked out the op, basted and then thread basted (3″ grid) my quilt using polyester wadding and am now happily quilting away… am trying to concentrate on keeping my stitches even. It has been a real departure for me from my comfort zone of machine piecing patchwork…
